A Great Day at the Painted Dunes Car show!

Yes, its ME! The El Paso WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER, that you all know so well, at a Car Show! 
What a beautiful day in El Paso!
I woke up and looked outside, as I normally do when I have events and thought, what a great day for a wedding, but what an even BETTER DAY to photograph my FIRST Car Show! 
Yes, you read correctly, this was my first time to capture this kind of event. Awesome, RIGHT?!
The clouds covered most of the day and the area I was given gave me access to each car as they drove up, to get a shot with the beautiful mountain and cloud filled sky in the background.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE WEDDINGS, but the change of pace is good for your creativity and to break up the normal pace.
I had a blast photographing this event and I hope you enjoy the images as well!

Painted Dunes Golf Course hosted this particular Car Show.
The volunteers were organized, under the direction of Arwen Lyle, the Private Events Director at the Golf Course and the event went on smoothly throughout the day. What I really liked about this location was the fact that the cars were able to park on the beautiful lush green. It was such beautiful area and it showcased the cars very well.
There was such a mix of cars that it seemed like there was a style for everyone! The big Monster truck was one of the first to arrive and it WAS HUGE! Come to find out, it was just the baby brother!!! BIG BROTHER came in on a diesel bed and it was so AWESOMELY AMAZING!
I loved the care and attention to detail that the car owners took. Polishing and buffing and just making a good FIRST IMPRESSION.

 

So, which car is your favorite?!
Mine?! Well, so hard to choose but, I love the old school trucks, especially the purple and black ones, and I have always been a fan of the old school hot rods too.

Ryan - What great images you captured. The composition and color rendition was on point. You couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day than this! Great job
